Adventist Health: Women’s Center*

Adventist Health completed a standalone Women’s Birthing Center addition to their Hanford hospital. The 60,000 sq. ft. new addition includes an LDRP unit, a post-partum unit, a NICU and two c-section operating rooms. The design focuses on the mothers' experience from arrival to discharge, starting with a welcoming, high-ceiling lobby and views of the landscaped courtyard. The entire building makes ample use of natural light with large windows, clerestories and skylights.
